Semester Start Dates

The Spring Semester begins on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, followed by the Summer Semester starting on Monday, June 1, 2026. The Fall Semester begins on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Sign up for a New Online Student Orientation Session

Plan to attend the 30-minute student orientation session, which covers various topics and is followed by Q&A. After you have attended your new online student orientation, your advisor's information will be emailed to you.

Speak with your Graduate Advisor

You will need to speak with a graduate advisor from your department before you can select your classes in Joe'SS. If you don't know who your advisor is, or if  you are a graduate non-degree seeking online student, please email stgrad@mst.edu or call 573-341-6903.

Select Your Class

Once you've confirmed with your advisor the course(s) you are taking, you should locate the course information in Joe'SS. Select Manage Classes, then search for your class. Make sure to select "distance education" under location to ensure you are enrolling in the distance/online course.

Enroll Yourself in Joe'SS

To set up your Joe'SS account, click here for instructions. 

  • Log into Joe'SS
  • Click on Manage Classes > Enrollment > Enrollment: Add Classes 

You will select your enrollment term and then add the class to the cart. Make sure the 5-digit Class Number and Section in Joe'SS matches the course from the Online Class Schedule.

Financial Information

Graduate students enrolled in at least four (4) credit hours are eligible for financial aid. To schedule an appointment with your counselor, please contact the Student Financial Assistance Office at sfs@mst.edu or 573-341-4282.

If your company offers educational benefits, you might be interested in our  deferred tuition program . This is a different program from Sponsored Billing , which is for educational expenses paid by an agency, embassy or company.

Boeing employees will need to send their LTP vouchers to the Student Financial Services Officer (sfs@mst.edu) for processing. Please contact your LTP Representative for more information.
