Online Graduate Certificate Cyber Security and Information Assurance Management Business and Information Technology

About the Certificate

Acquire the knowledge and experience in cybersecurity and risk management to protect data and infrastructures when you earn a graduate certificate in Cyber Security and Information Assurance Management. 

This graduate certificate program will focus on the technologies and methods used to ensure the protection of information systems, as well as the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of information. These topics and skills are priorities in the business world and are critical to the well-being and success of all organizations.

This graduate certificate program is open to all individuals holding a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree in areas such as business, computer science, social sciences, sciences, technology, engineering, or related disciplines.

Students admitted to the certificate program will have non-degree graduate status but will earn graduate credit for the courses they complete.

The certificate program consists of four courses. The core courses will be offered at least once per year, so that you can complete the program in a timely manner.  In order to receive a graduate certificate, you must earn a cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 in the four certificate courses taken.

If you successfully complete the graduate certificate program, you will, upon application, be admitted to the Master of Business Administration or to the Master of Science in Information Science and Technology. The certificate courses taken by students admitted to the program will count toward master's degree program.

Once admitted to the certificate program, you will have three years to complete the certificate, as long as you maintain a B average in the courses taken.

Pathway to a Master's Degree

Are you a working professional who wants to earn your master's degree, but you don’t have time to take the GRE/GMAT? Then start in a graduate certificate program. Graduate certificates were designed as a pathway to a master's degree.* The admission requirements are more relaxed and credit earned will count toward your degree. Once you successfully earn your graduate certificate, you can continue with the corresponding master's degree without having to take the GRE/GMAT.
