The interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Digital Supply Chain Management equips students with the tools and insights to shape and enhance that value across the entire supply chain. Drawing on strengths from multiple departments, the program integrates sourcing (strategic procurement and supply management), production (manufacturing and service operations), and delivery processes (demand fulfillment), with a strong emphasis on information technologies as key drivers of efficiency and responsiveness.

Students develop expertise across the full spectrum of supply chain activities, including supplier relationships, purchasing, operations and inventory management, logistics and transportation, quality management, and information technology. As a professional development program, it builds core competencies while introducing new skill sets needed to manage and optimize today’s complex, digitally enabled supply chains.

Jointly offered by the Department of Business and Information Technology, Engineering Management and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, the certificate represents a collaborative initiative between the Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development and the College of Engineering and Computing. With hands-on access to live ERP systems and advanced analytics platforms, the program bridges theory, research, and real-world application—preparing graduates to lead digital transformation efforts as industry professionals, researchers, and educators.
